The Bushey Academy firmly believes in providing educational experiences that go further than the walls of the academy. Whether it's our World Challenge expedition, our 2011 ski trip or an AimHigher visit to the University of Hertfordshire all activities have been carefully chosen to enhance the learning experience of the academy students.

Trips and Visits

Academy Trip  

I had the pleasure of taking four students to the challenge activity day at Cambridge University.  All four students worked hard at the challenges from when we arrived to when we left.  They were competing with other schools.  They constantly worked as a team, helping and supporting each other with the challenges.    The last challenge we all completed was the ‘Who wants to be a Millionaire’, we came fifth out of all the schools.  All four students did themselves proud and also The Academy, well done.
