Top Banana Cucina's New "App"

Cucina have launched their own “app” called Top Banana!  

Top Banana is a combination of some of the chefs’ best works, producing dishes that are quick and easy to create.  The idea started as a way of arming school leavers with some simple recipes they could take with them to college, university or the wider world, which were both quick and inexpensive to create as well as fun and nutritious to eat.   

The Top Banana app has been divided into three levels of skill, “assemble”, “cook” and “impress”.  By giving novices the confidence to experiment with simple recipes, Cucina hope that they will quickly progress into the cook section, which is still easy, but one notch higher and, once they fancy showing off, onwards to the impress section.  

Cucina feel that by gifting the app to students who use their restaurants, after potentially having some involvement within one of the food technology classes or via an after school cookery club, they could bring the subject of food alive in a fun way.
