The Academy In Partnership With Business
The delivery of Business and Communications within the Academy will be supported by a very high level of resourcing. There will be a strong emphasis on the delivery of the specialism utilising sophisticated ICT resources. This delivery will also
tap into the outside world as a major resource. Strong working links will be developed with other schools, both locally, nationally and internationally, with strong involvement in national initiatives.
With the support of the Herts Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the academy has established a Young Chamber of Commerce. The Young Chamber oversees the academy's Marketplace and has been involved in the organisation of a number of events.
The academy is working with the Watford & West Herts Chamber of Commerce to establish relationships with local businesses. Our aim is to use the experience of industry to develop a curriculum that ensures both the successful future of our students and provides a workforce to support and enhance the local economy.
